Find Your Balance
Ready to see results from your unmounted training sessions?
Below is Anchored Seat’s 3 phases of training: Assess, Act, and Achieve. This can be individualized to your personal training, or a group activity for your barn. The thought process behind this is simple:
We want to assess and act out of the tack so we can set the stage to achieve our goals in the saddle.
How can I help you build your roadmap to an independent seat?
Individual Riders
Rider Fitness Assessment
I will work with you in a 90-minute session in a comprehensive training assessment tailored to you as a rider. We’ll review your riding goals, complete an assessment framework outlined by the Functional Movement Systems, and then I’ll help you outline key exercises to work on; you get to keep these handouts for future reference!
Price: $175/person
Rider Balance Training
Looking for more opportunities to build on your riding assessment, and receive individual instruction from your Rider Balance Coach? I will guide you through Level Up Your Seat’s Training Blueprint, addressing each stage of training (breathing, flexibility, strengthening, balance, coordination, timing). Selecting this package also allows you digital access to my training platform, where exercises can be adjusted or added each visit to address your individual needs.
*Includes required Rider Fitness Assessment prior to sessions.
Price: $750 (Includes Rider Fitness Assessment + 6 private sessions across a 90-day timespan)
Equicizer Mounted Workshop
(Rider Fitness Assessment required to book an Equicizer Mounted Workshop)
Ready to put the pieces of your training puzzle together? Join me and my Equicizer, Celeste, for a mounted workshop which builds upon your unmounted training together. I will assess your position and rider biomechanics, and pull key strategies together incorporating Franklin-Method techniques to help you take those unmounted skills and translate them into in-the-tack success. Taking a riding lesson with Celeste is a wonderful way to get consistent feedback so you can focus on building your rider balance and feel.

“I always considered myself to be limber and strong but I had been compensating for weaknesses all this time and never knowing. It was eye-opening. It's not immediate but it's cumulative...and I found I get what I put in. After all how can I expect my horse to perform well if he's carrying a partner that isn't at her best?”
- Stephanie Scribner
“The two clinicians worked so well together. Excellent eye evaluating horse and rider and a great knowledge of anatomy relating to the rider. Thank you!”

"I feel like I learned something that is going to create a profound positive change not only in my riding but how I walk and move my body off my horse. A fundamental improvement I could have never figured out on my own."

"I really enjoy and benefit from Audrey’s teaching style. She combines a deep knowledge of her subject matter with humor, the ability to help nervous riders like me relax, perceptiveness of subtle changes or areas needing change, and creativity in developing different ways to address an issue. I could go on…"
